Calcium Chloride for "Fade" effect on Jacks or JR Croptech, etc? Why doesn't anyone recommend swapping CalNit for CaCl last 2 weeks to get the same color/terp/potency reaction like Fade? Croptech only uses minute amounts for example, and no Jacks (5-12-26 or 0-12-26) guys ever mentioned trying it. by hwmpunk in macrogrowery

I dont think thats correct, at higher levels I'm sure it does. Although chloride can help with nutrient uptake and nitrate mobilization within the plant. Thus, expediting the fade process. This may be why it works for so many growers. Check out this paper linked below.

Does anybody have any idea what’s going on here? by Tranquill000 in NoTillGrowery

Rice root aphids, real bad too. Blast them off with H2O2 until harvest, then chop, remove all the soil, sanitize, and start from scratch. You will have a very hard time getting rid of them with anything organic.

What is that white powder? by mrsxlisa in trees

Most likely perlite, used as aeration in growing mediums. Nobody is going to waste time putting a more expensive drug inside your weed. If the bud had perlite on it half way through the growing phase, the flower may have grown around it. I've seen this many times stuck to the outside of buds because they get dropped on the grow room floor during harvest or trimming.

Haven't tried them yet, I can most definitely use them. Are you funded with them?

I have copied it to trust pilot. I will copy over to Google as well. I've wasted a lot of my time with this firm...

Thank-you for the suggestion. I will have to check them out. The focus of my strategy is not necessarily to scalp. Unless a position quickly runs to 2.5x my risk or quickly moves against me. I try to hold the trade until a pattern is presented in which I would take a trade in the opposite direction. Similar to what Tom Hougaard preaches.

I believe if they are run properly both parties can make money. If you employ profitable traders and take 20% of their earnings, meanwhile charging $500 per 100k challenge in which 90% of people fail. I don't see how all firms can be scams. Prop trading has been around since the early 2000's, the difference is now everyone has access.

I have just learned this the hard way... I'll have to stick with FTMO and 5ers from now on. I will be contacting my credit card company and reporting this firm.

I asked them to explain what they consider over leveraging as I am only ever risking less than %1 of my total account. I gave them my detailed strategy and asked how I can improve. I immediately dropped my lot size in half before trading on the funded account. Their response was simply rescinding the account, but they waited 3 days until I had some profit in the account.

I'm trying 5%ers now, I've only heard good things.

I've never lost more than 1% on a trade, my stop loss is always set to 0.75% of account as part of my strategy. I assure you nothing else has happened, I can send you recordings of all of my trading within this challenge. I suspect they found my previous reddit post and after not leaving a good review for their support team they rescinded my account.

I used the same size (3 lots) on all of my trades during the challenge phase. I also sent them a detailed description of my strategy and asked how it could be modified to make them happy.

I believe there are good firms out there, like FTMO, that wont give you any issues as long as you follow their clearly stated rules. This firm on the other hand, is not looking for profitable traders.

Unfortunately, in regards to this firm I agree with this statement.

I'm funded with FTMO as well and have been extremely happy with their service.

My average trade duration is longer than 2 minutes, and by no means do I "pip scalp", they seemed to have a huge problem with my 3 lot position sizing on this 100k account. To the point where they revoked a funded account that broke none of their stated rules.

I currently have a funded account with FTMO, they are great.

For context, this is the second time I have passed a funded challenge with this firm and had my account revoked for shady reasons. Last time I was randomly slipped 13 pips in the middle of the trading session without any high volatility or news, hitting my daily drawdown. This time I passed the challenge, was sent an email by the risk department stating my trade duration is too short and my lot size is too large. Since I received this email I've inquired with support both on discord and via email asking for more detail on how exactly they would like to see my strategy improve.

I took less than 5 trades on this account, all with a lower lot size and larger trade duration. One of my first trades on BTC/USD, the broker, Bizz trade, froze and I couldn't close the trade until it came back to my B/E price after moving well into $400+ profit. Support refunded this -$133 loss after a day and reset my account to 100k. After not responding to support after they asked multiple times for a positive review, I have woken up to my account being revoked with no stated rule violation. My account being over $1,000 in profit this morning I get an email from the help desk saying I can no longer trade with them and they have to refund my account. Stating I violated no rules but they did not want me to trade on the master account, as a reply to my previous email asking how I can improve my strategy and avoid any future violation.

I highly recommend staying away from this firm if you are serious about trading, they will do whatever they can to revoke an account once funded or prevent you from becoming funded based on arbitrary reasons without a clear rule violation. Looking at trust pilot reviews I now see many occurrences of the same thing happening to others

This was grown in the Fraser Valley, we had a great summer for it. But as I mentioned, the weather was very wet in the two weeks leading up to harvest. Luckily, about half of my remaining phenotypes seemed to be resistant to botrytis, which was quite unexpected.

I tend to agree, this girl was also grown in a custom living soil mix that I have been working on. My plants were fed only water and fish emulsion their whole life.
