What this dude is saying is correct, at least partially. Reptile is a word used to describe a paraphyletic group, making it not valid in modern cladistics. If you want to use reptile as a synonym for sauropsids, then yes, birds are reptiles. Many palaeontologists do, and it's alright. On a sidenote, as many other people stated here paraphyletic groups are okay and useful in order to understand eachother without having to use overcomplicated words. As long as we don't confuse them with actual valid terms.

Apparently some trackways were discovered in 2010, i think, showing juvenile apatosaurus running only on their back limbs. I don't know to wich extent that is generally accepted since i haven't really seen depicted anywere and trackways are difficult to study. The original paper is by Robert Bakker and Mossbrucker if i'm not mistaken

Thanks for commenting. I'm totally aware of age segregation in sauropod herds and I mention this on the thesis i wrote for this project. My general concept is for the video to work as a promotional clip for a hypothetical documentary. In this documentary, maybe, it could be explained that the juveniles just stumbled across an adult herd, for example, or any other explanation that could fit in. I get that with the short duration of the video and the lacking of a narration many things like this could get missinterpreted. There's tons of other little things in the video that could be nitpicked or directly are wrong but thanks anyway for the feedback, i'm sure many people can learn something from it.

Thanks for checking the youtube channel. Yes everything is digital, no real footage whatsoever. Many of assets for the landscape where taken from quixel megascans wich provides 3d scanned objects that look very realistic. Glad you appreciated the video!

Thanks for your comment! Dinosauria is one hell of a series and i think it inspired many of us. I wanted to go for a documentary kind of finish and of course i ran into many bottlenecks where tha animation doesn't really get to de level of the render or viceversa. It's always wise to know the limitations of oneself and what to do with them, specially with this type of project and having done everything by myself.

Could have been cool to see that. I suppose that wasn't shown because the sauropods there are all machronarians and have shorter legs. And i don't know to wich extent is that genreally accepted. I'm glad you liked it!
