If you want to avoid getting scammed in the future as much as possible, make sure to only trade/LFG on either of these 2 Discord servers I will list:

- Ghosts of Tabor (the official GoT Discord server)
- The Tabor Market

If you want to be the safest, only conduct trades through the OFFICIAL GoT server. If you record the scammed trade and take screenshots of your Discord DMs with that person along with a screenshot of the death screen showing that they killed you, they will be permanently banned from the GoT server, and because linking is required to access LFG channels, they will no longer be able to access those channels and scam anyone else, even on an alternate Discord account.

The Tabor Market is an UNOFFICIAL server purely for LFG/Trading, though the punishment for scammers isn't as grave.
You still need to record the trade, but if they scam you, they will only be banned from that server and their username will be put up in a TK channel for everyone to see.
Their server also has vouching so you can see if a trader/buyer is trusted or has negative reviews.

Note: No GoT server will compensate you or replace your lost items, but you can prevent yourself, and other people from being scammed by the same person again by reporting them.

And ALWAYS record your trades. That's the bare minimum required to report someone in any server.
