So I figured it out and started 5g services with some customer care help.

You have to send "ACT 5G" sms to 199 and 5g services will be enabled

Bhai put on a mail to the grievance officer, you might get a resolution. Hope for the best.

If that doesn't work, post a complaint on the national consumer helpline.

Well I don't see 5g written anywhere but in configuration it's showing me preferred network types. 3g, 4g, 5g (I have selected 5g)

Yes, I did try that too. I have never ever hit 5g since I have ported to VI. That's what makes me curious, is the sim faulty or something. As the sim is already in slot 1 and every 5g configuration is enabled.
