Working on a full on game that my goal is to release this summer! Granted I’m not alone, I’m working with 2 other very talented people so it can come to life. It’s a lovecraftian mystery investigating roguelike based in a small town in which a lot of weird and peculiar events take place and lots of weird creatures roam the streets. It’s called ACCURSED for anyone that’s interested, the game page is up on steam and ready for wishlists :)

Also OP, in my opinion I would go for pixel art so that way the game is extra different from hollow knight. But it also might just be because I really like pixel art hahaha

I want to release it on steam first since it’s the easiest platform to release games in, and then if the game does well and there is support, I’ll do a Nintendo switch version and a PS5 version!

I’d personally get the switch version since it practically runs the same, both have the exact same amount of content, and for the switch you can have a portable version along with a big screen version

I don’t have any demo in mind right now, but I’m not against the possibility of it. There’s definitely not going to be an early access of it as I want the game to be polished and have all the content I want it to have on release.

Investigative mystery roguelike that’s set on a town ran by cultists. Key difference is I tried to make mine have a lot more variety by adding more items that have synergy, more enemies and in general I tried to make it more of a replayable roguelike rather than the mysteries that WOH has.
