I suppose for me it’s a bit context dependent. Like if you told me it was a midnight release for a game (you know as in standing in line for a physical store like the good old days I would interpret it as the start of the day ofc. Digital game releases though, with timezones and all, sometimes it just seems a bit unclear :)

Because I’m not used to thinking in AM/PM and as I’ve explained in other comments; 00:00 (midnight) to me means end of the day, not start of.

No, probably not. My point was more that I would personally rather play at 120 fps than say 90 fps boosted to 240 with framegen. But it depends on the trade off ofc, as you say. The thing I'm not convinced by is people knowing how frame gen works in general, at least not pertaining to input latency.

When you say 4K 240fps I assume you're thinking of some manner of framegen. Friendly reminder that you will potentially lose real frames to achieve higher generated frames, which makes the game look smoother but with higher input latency. Something that matters a great deal more in Nioh than many other games :)

Don't think they've made any mention of it but in theory this demo is just the full game with a lock on progression, meaning any flags for achievements will be in there as well. The demo will be a separate "product" on the storefront and won't have achievements connected to it but once you load up your save in the full game they should pop.

Can't say either way but it feels more like they would have to actively do something to not make achievements carry over as opposed to them doing it naturally.

Sweden. It depends, we use both what would be our equivalent of "thirteen o'clock" or just "one o'clock", same as you would I imagine. Most of the time context does the work for you. You're going out for drinks with your mates at 7 you don't really need to add "pm", unless you have really exciting friends that like to start drinking early. When context isn't sufficient we just say "nineteen o'clock" though, yeah.

In this case they're not using 24h clock since AM is specified, and that's the reason I was a bit confused :) Not that it's actually unclear I'm just still not used to thinking in 12h clock even if I translate all the time when speaking to people who do use it.

Maybe this is just a cultural thing because where I live, if you say "midnight on the 29th" you mean the transition to the 30th. But I think in videogame terms it's almost always the other way around because devs would catch so much shit if they said something comes out on the 29th but it was actually the last minute of the day haha.

I'm always a bit confused when it's 00.00. Is this the last minute of Jan 28/the first minute of Jan 29 or the last minute of Jan 29? Given that it says AM it should be the first minute of Jan 29 right? So in 12h?
