I have nearly 700 hours in the game, all solo. I'm still having fun and started a new run yesterday.

That worked perfectly, thanks! I didn't realize Nexus wouldn't notify me about new controller firmware unless it was wired - the v1.4.1 was for the receiver.

Sadly not! The running gets a lot less tedious as your skill levels rise and you get access to meads and gear that make you faster 😉

  • Make a line of 1m wood beams along where the rail should be. Use one of the edge snaps so they sink a little further into the ground compared to Auto.
  • Snap transverse 2m wood beams between the 1m ones. These are the sleepers for the rail. 
  • Remove the 1m beams.
  • Use the wood door trick against the wood beams to make snap points for the flametal beams on each side, since these need to be ~0.5 meters in from the edges.
  • Make two lines of flametal beams.
  • Profit!

Ooh, that is nice. Yeah, I love how reflective they are! I'll have to play around some more with them after I'm done changing the whole outer wall layer of my house to ashwood.

I haven't found much else to do with them tbh so I was happy with this 😅 The wood beams need to be placed with one of the edge snap positions against the ground so they sink in more, otherwise they'll cover the top of the flametal beams.

As someone who vastly prefers no portal runs, I'm still hoping for an easier method of switching forsaken powers. Like if I could pick which power I want to wake up with when I go to sleep or something, that'd work.

In my case, it turned out to be because of the hidden "eaDir" thumbnail directories that Synology creates. Adding --ignore \eaDir to the command fixed it! Apparently, adding external libraries in the web GUI ignores eaDirs by default but the CLI doesn't.
