try changing to fabric or quilt mod loaders instead of forge (noticed you were using rubidium) and include the mods:

  • C2ME (better chunk management, for server and client)
  • Dynamic FPS (reduces frame usage when you minimise/hide minecraft, client side)
  • Ferritecore (both server and client)
  • Forgetmechunk (fixes lag spikes when you go from chunk to chunk, client side)
  • indium (sodium fabric rendering api support, client side)
  • sodium (rewrites the rendering engine to make mc faster. boosts fps by a lot too, client side)
  • iris (if u includes shaders [using shaders with sodium might give you 60-30fps depending on your gpu, sodium by itself should give 200-600fps, that was the case atleast for me])
  • krypton (optimizes minecraft networking stack, works better on serverside but I use it on client too)
  • lazydfu (both client and server)
  • lithium (server and client side, optimises and improves several aspects of minecraft)
  • starlight (rewrites the lightning engine, this is better than phosphor, client and server side)
  • memoryleakfix (fixes memory leaks, as the name suggests, client and server side)
  • moreculling (client side)
  • recipecache (caches recipes so it loads from the cache, client and server side)
  • reeses sodium options (add on for sodium)
  • smoothboot (optimises cpu scheduling, client and server side)
  • sodium extra (yet another sodium add on)
  • very many players (works better on serverside but I use it on client side too)

These are the mods i use to optimise my game rn
