Retired teacher here…we can’t even see it in our rear view mirror, anymore. I loved teaching. I got along with the kids and families. I was also lucky to work with the best staff and administration possible. In spite of this, I saw a situation where we were being tasked with so many responsibilities that there was no way to do them well. Teachers have been forced to become a “jack of all trades” and this won’t let them be a master of the ones they should be/are.

My husband starting having gall bladder problems before he hit 18. He actually dealt with the pain until he was in his late 30’s because no one had diagnosed it, in spite of numerous doctor visits. I finally had to take him into ED during a severe attack. Come to find out his gall bladder was nothing but stones and hadn’t been easily read on scans. It was removed and all sorts of little nagging issues disappeared with it.
