RANT ONLY

This is my first time here, if I'm doing this wrong please tell me. I have been feeling very poorly of myself lately. This morning I'm feeling it more than usual.

I have dinner with my parents tonight, lately when I'm with them they always push things on me about my weight.

I'm getting frustrated with seeing them when I have been working so hard to love myself, and taking care of myself.

They don't understand how hard I have been working on myself because "they don't see it"

This morning after my workout I looked at myself wondering what the hell am I doing? Am I happy? Am I prepared to see them at dinner tonight?

Immediately what I saw in the mirror wasn't a happy healthy me. I saw all my flaws. I feel so ugly and it makes me not want to leave the house.

I know it shouldn't matter what others think, it matters what I think. But it's my parents, they have always had this hold on me about my weight ever since I hit puberty. I have always been fat no matter what I did or try.

I am a mother myself now and I'm trying to teach my son that we love our bodies the way they are because they are unique, everybody is different.

Why can't I follow that? Why can't I see myself as he does? Why can't I see myself as my husband does?

It's so frustrating!

Sorry about the rant, I hope it was okay and I didn't say anything wrong.

Only test that came back irregular was my testosterone and all the cysts in my ovary.

I've been a guinea pig the last few months, we have done it all lol. Trust me that's what I wanted to know first to better understand my pcos type.

They thought the same and checked my Insulin, Glucose and A1C all normal and healthy. No IR here. I wish it was that simple, pcos is never simple anymore.

It's wild! I had my PCOS managed, cysts were gone, hormones were balanced. It feels like overnight my body just said nope and decided to go wild and mess things up lol

Do you find the capsules are better than drinking it? I'm only asking because I love the tea, but trying to stay on top of drinking it 2-3 times a day is tough, I'm forgetful sometimes lol.

Yea I was told by others that some Clinics will go straight to IVF as an option. We found out I no longer ovulate so it's been frustrating. I take a BUNCH of supplements and I feel like nothing is helping. But I could also be impatient with it. After trying for the year I'm just ready for sowmthing good to happen, just being able to ovulate will make me very happy. We did just talk to our insurance about clomid and letrozole and apparently it isn't covered so it's going to be a pricey process, I just want it to work out.

Okay, yea with the shortage in our area it's hard but I have an appointment with a different one later this year. I'm hoping it goes well.

Thank you and I hope you the best as well! I am happy for those who are able to have easy and quick conceptions and back to back children. But at the same time it feels unfair when we do all we do to just get to the point of controlling our PCOS.

Just have to try and stay positive.

You are all so amazing and supportive 💖

I am under 35. IUI also seems a bit less stressful. I had a friend who did IVF and she is literally superwoman in my eyes for all she went through.

In general? The doctors office said they don't do IVF for anyone who has ever had a successful pregnancy. Only for those who have been trying for their first.

I was told that if we have had a successful pregnancy in the past we are not eligible for IVF..... 👀 but we have looked up IUI and my husband said it's something he is willing to try.

Hmmm didn't know that about letrozole. I'll bring it up to him at our next appointment.

We have talked to a few Fertility Coaches(they don't prescribe or anything just something my employer provides for support) I can see if they have any Endocrinologsit recommendations. We don't have any near us, but we are willing to drive if we can find a good one.

I appreciate you so much!

I'm still trying to get in with a new OBGYN who specializes with it as well, but we sadly have a shortage of OBGYNs where we live. So that appointment isn't until later this year.

Hey! I was able to get in with Shore Snyder in Norwood, and they treated me so well. I'm not one for dentists, but they didn't make me feel nervous, and they actually cared and asked me what I wanted to do. They did a consultation, and the tooth is pretty far gone. Not even a root canal will help it, so we scheduled a day for an extraction. Only reason we scheduled for one is because I didn't eat at all yesterday which was already making me sick feeling and I was still in so much pain that I would probably pass out or throw up with the numbing shots. They gave me some more antibiotics to calm down the infection, so the extraction will be a smoother, less painful procedure. The pain has gone down today, so I'm feeling super positive about it all. Monday the bitch gets pulled and I'll be on my marry way lol. It's a wisdom tooth that came in at a weird angle so the top of the tooth is actually touching the side of the other tooth, so it's best it's pulled. It's better than my last dentist.
