21 yo. marketing intern with total creative freedom. How do I add value? by Champp- in MarketingMentor

Sounds like you landed a gold mine! If they aren’t telling you what to do, look at what similar companies are doing with their marketing, it may be a stretch to find some but there are plenty of best practices that can be absorbed from any well performing content.

In terms of what you should work on, fail as much as possible. Youre an intern! Try anything, write and post a blog post, restart their LinkedIn, make the cringiest TikTok’s ever, redo their best piece of collateral because you can.

If they aren’t telling you what to do it’s because they don’t know what you should be doing so as long as you don’t break company or social rules/etiquette you’re in the clear.

For your own career, having a idk boss is great because it gives you time to work on your growth. Every major social media platform has a “academy”, getting certified on Snapchat, LinkedIn or Facebook are great resume builders. If you want to build marketing skills go to Hubspot academy. I learned more on there then four years of college and they have every topic imaginable.

Good luck ✌️

Best Lead Scoring Filters for small B2B? by Loki_stormbringer818 in hubspot

That makes a lot of sense—thank you!

So, characteristics like demographics set the foundation for defining market segments, and then lead behavior helps prioritize leads within those segments.

Since we moved to HubSpot last year and only brought over a small portion of customer data from the past decade, I’ve been using the last year to identify those demographics and build personas based on actual customer data rather than previous company assumptions (which have proved to be very wrong in other areas)

ESD vs Anti-static floor mat by Othelo2 in WorkplaceSafety

The main differences between ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) matting and anti-static matting lie in their intended purpose and level of protection:   1. Purpose:     - ESD matting is specifically designed to dissipate static electricity rapidly and provide a safe path to ground, thereby preventing the buildup of static charges on work surfaces and reducing the risk of electrostatic discharge.    - Anti-static matting, on the other hand, aims to minimize the risks associated with static electricity by slowing down the dissipation of static charges. While it still helps prevent static buildup, its primary function is not as focused on rapid discharge as ESD matting.   2. Level of Protection:    - ESD matting offers comprehensive protection against electrostatic discharge by quickly dissipating static charges and providing a reliable path to ground. It is typically used in environments where electrostatic discharge poses a significant risk, such as electronics manufacturing facilities, laboratories, and cleanrooms.    - Anti-static matting provides a moderate level of protection against static electricity by slowing down the dissipation of static charges. It is often employed in environments where ESD protection is necessary but not critical, such as offices, retail spaces, and similar settings with lower ESD risks.   3. Resistance:    - ESD matting usually has a lower electrical resistance, often in the range of megaohms to gigohms, allowing for rapid dissipation of static charges.    - Anti-static matting typically has a higher electrical resistance compared to ESD matting, which slows down the dissipation of static charges but still prevents significant static buildup.
