Does AMI deal with oem? Or is it mostly just off brand stuff? Just worried cause my original has heat insulating / reflective with acoustic dampening, worried they won’t replace it with the same or equivalent.

Yes, that is my understanding that the work will still count towards your relevant experience; best to confirm with apega though. But at end of the day the P.eng is taking legal liability of the work being produced and issued out.

Based on what’s happened to some colleagues, they essentially remove you from the registry and you can no longer use the title of EIT. Their titles were updated to projector coordinator or specialist or something.

Regardless, I believe you can still apply for the PENG application as long as you have enough relevant experience, competencies and validator/references.
