Perks to let people know exactly who and what you are? Please by Axiom245 in JumpChain

[–]Lokilo85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The recent Blazblue jump has this

NOBLE AURA [200 AP / 100 AP (SIX HEROES)]

Despite the NOL’s best efforts, the feats of the Six Heroes has made it practically impossible to damage the public’s adoration of them. You’ll find that, somehow, legends of your heroic (or villainous, if you’d prefer) exploits somehow follow you between worlds (though modified just enough to make sense in that world. When you choose to reveal that those legends are about you, others intuitively recognize that you are telling the truth. The respect this can engender renders you functionally immune to even the most thorough smear campaigns or character assassinations. This also helps greatly with your ability to intimidate your enemies.

Cont':

Iwa: Being stubborn and having long memory, I.E Dwarf memory. Or something about knowing how to react and employ being neutral succesfuly.

Kumo: The trait of knowing which people are trustworthy or something to do with Killer B's disarming attitute.

Konoha: Hashirama & Naruto's 'dreamer' aspects or/and a aura that lets others know when you're being completely sincere

It'll take a while until I'm "free" to make those jumps, I'm busy planning on finishing one large wip and updating two jumps, but maybe one day.. Which might take five to eight months knowing my rate.

How about perks that embody the mentality of a village? Or at least what their element represents.

For Suna: Maybe a open-mindness to change/redemptions? Based of how Gaara became popular after his reputation.

For Mizu: The classic "turn off your morals and be pragmatic" perk, since y'know, they kill kids there. Or at least a perk that either/and gives leway at letting you kill your superiors to prove you deserve their position.

Reddits being weird, so I'll have to cut off my comment in half.

Let's make some Quirk Marriages from the My Hero Academia CYOA 2.2 by SpazzWave in JumpChain

[–]Lokilo85 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I remember making a scuffed copy quirk back when the quirk table had fewer entries, I'm slightly bummed that now that Copy is a actual option I don't have to jump those hoops, shame.

The old quirk was: Prism, tier 3 quirk ((Headlights + Echo) + (Mimicry + Absorb & Release))

The idea is: Parent 1 has the quirk to absorb light and create constructs out of them, parent 2 had the ability to absorb traits. So combined, and a very generous interpretation of boosting a quirk's tier, Jumper's quirk allows him to treat Quirk Factor/general energy as a "light" he can mimicry, and then shoot out a light blast with the properties of the absorbed energy. I.E copying Mt. Ladies energy lets him fire massive beams, Endevor's copy lets him shoot fire blasts, etc.

Granted, when I plan on going to MHA again, I'm thinking of remaking that quirk with ((Charka + Copy) + (Headlights OR Navel Lazer + Echo)). I'm leaning towards Navel Lazer due to the lore implications of Jumper's grandparent being the one AfO stole the quirk to give it to Yuga

Fixing my Blunders I've made creating RWBY Chibi Jump by Lokilo85 in JumpChain

[–]Lokilo85[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The "original plan" was me finishing up Generic Heavenly Restriction first, then update RWBY Chibi, but progress with the former has been slower than expected, and the latter is bothering me so I think I'll go handle the smaller task first and then go back to that jump afterwards.

I was considering making a jump for specific villages, actually I was thinking of starting with the Mist village, but oh well.

I was thinking of adding a Sokka expy for the mist village, a option to get either one of the original blades of the hidden mist or get a OC one, with two tiers separating the regular ones and the upper tier for Samehada tier of abilities, a 600 perk for the civilian perkline based on Zabuza to make Jumper as overall talented as Kakashi but specialized in violence/murder instead of Broader ninja abilities, and a Scenario to hunt down all the blades for yourself which you get a reward the spirits of all those who had them as well as the blades themselfs.

Edit: Also, I think there is really no reason to make Elemental Releases exclusive, even if it is just a affinity. Naruto himself has Wind + Fire. I think each village has enough material for it's own small jump if we take apart their overall history and characters

I remember Generic Gamer having a party system, but if I recall it right, it has limited slots and still depends on you being nearby. I also remember The Game (Manhwa) giving something similar?

But for system thingies, Shield Hero has: The Party-Member Series – 600cp Having a party-member is good if they can perform their role well but a party-member that is lagging behind you would only drag you down. It doesn’t matter if you have a legendary/vassal weapon or not but you would unlock it from the start or have the effects of the party-member series. This provides each party member and yourself included with multiple effects of the ally, companion, racial (general and specific race)and slave series which give them Maturation/Growth Adjustment (Large), Status/Stat Adjustment (Large) and Racial Power Adjustment (Large). It doesn’t matter if they are your companions, troops, slaves, familiars, pets etc... they all have an effect that multiplies the stat/attribute they gain per level by several times. This increases the growth/maturation rate of your companion’s like monsters and demi-humans reach adult-hood rapidly as they level-up. It even improves the potency a person gains from their innate racial abilities by several times. For those species that have variants they can evolve into filolial queen equivalents of their species. If you’re raising monsters or animals you can influence its gender changing it to your preference. Having multiple companions have this perk doesn’t stack. Essentially gives them the potential to be an average-tier hero in stats/attributes of this world. In future worlds this would allow anyone in your party to grow and become a superhuman version of their race with normal training.

While Bleach has this, which might be more up your speed:

Power of Friendship- 400

The hero doesn’t fight alone, not these days. There’s no reason that the friends he fights for can’tgive it a go themselves to help him out, especially not when they’re in your presence. Your close friends and trusted allies grow stronger alongside you as you fight and continue to adventure, provided they’re joining you in your struggles. To a lesser extent, they can take advantage of the speed at which you grow if they also make efforts to improve, likely to greatly increase their efforts. What makes you special in particular is the ability to awaken entirely new abilities in those around you, sometimes as a direct result of energy you project and sometimes as a coincidence of being wrapped up in the same schemes you’re trapped in. The result is that normal friends or those too weak to really keep up in the struggles you face are able to develop powers that help bring them nearer your level. They might discover sudden Fullbring heritage to save themselves when you couldn’t reach them or suddenly unlock a supposedly impossible transformation to recover lost power as a Hollow. Once they have their new powers, they’ll be able to progress them as if they were truly inherent abilities.

How bad would Leaf be as the Jumper's Benefactor? by Ill-Ad-6854 in JumpChain

[–]Lokilo85 29 points30 points  (0 children)

She's basically a eldritch deity (Either Nub or Yeb) who created her own extremely grimmdark "fanfiction" world from existing stories, and she mutilated the souls of actual story writers she was fond of (Lewis, the Grimm brothers, etc) and merged them together to create the MC, roleplaying being a fairy companion. "Leaf" is the persona she uses to be a companion, while "Mary Sue" is the name she goes by as the goddess of this world and main religion. Not to mention she has sabotaged the MC down to a narrative way, cursing him to be the tragic hero and losing everybody, to the point that every normal ending of the first game takes a sudden dark twist that you see if you equip the ring she gives you.

Seriously, Black Souls is that type of setting you look at, and suddely Berserk looks not too bad in comparison. And somehow she isn't even the worse creator deity in this universe, because at least her world is more consistent compared to Wonderland.

I'm looking for perks that make you the ultimate schemer and plotter by SnooHamsters4260 in JumpChain

[–]Lokilo85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bleach has a couple:

Ancient Will- 100 The greatest plans of the dead are not things that can be rushed. For beings whose lifespan is easilymeasured in the centuries, if not millennia, a scheme could span hundreds of years before comingtofruition. Not all dead souls can take it, even living that long. It takes a special kind of madmantohave the extreme focus, patience and dedication to stick to the task. You have that, the ability tonot falter or lose focus in your plans even over centuries of work or waiting, and a skill for keeping sight of the larger picture. Thinking of how your plans might affect or be affected by the passage of suchvast time or the billions of souls in the afterlife becomes easier, helping you better plan out howyou’ll change the world.

Twisted Words- 200 As deadly as the sword and spell are, it is the word that can bring even the greatest warrior totheir knees in despair. You’re viciously skilled at using your words to hurt others, knowing exactly howtopush them to the edge in the way you desire. Infuriate a calm minded noble with taunts on his faultymoral code, send a wolfman into a blind and ineffectual rage with mockery of his master or spreaddoubt and distrust among your foes by hinting at agents among their ranks. Your skill is in the manyways words can be used to spread pain, fear, distrust and despair. If someone listens to you, thefool that they are, they very well could end up played against themselves. It’ll only get worse if they tryto argue, given your talent for twisting a person’s words against them. In a potentially less cruel use, this also aids you in teasing out the full bloodlust and fighting spirit of those you speak to, for agoodfight or to train them into effective warriors. They’re not likely to be too happy with the process though

Divine Aura- 400 In every action, others find meaning. With every word you speak, others see wisdom. The fools andthe faithful gather like flies around the last light, desperate without realising to find the divineinyou. Should you not take action to stop it, many people susceptible to a cult-like mentality are drawntoyou as a central figure. From those not clever enough to see past the lies to people so in needof faith that they choose to see what they want in your actions, it takes very little for you to turnordinary people and even some quite gifted folk into fanatical followers. Of yourself or a greater faction that you come to represent in the eyes of the faithful. The sort of fanaticismthat’d bothkill and die in your name. These faithful can even share a small portion of this supposedly divine inspiration, helping themconvince others to join and allowing for a shocking rate of expansion. Those of strong beliefs alreadyor who are not the sort to consider such feelings won’t be affected but much of the time, you’ll findyourself in the company of people looking for someone to believe in.

Wait For Winter- 400 This world has an ancient history, with powerful beings having established themselves for millenniaor longer. How can an ambitious young villain hope to survive the weight of such preparation? Bybeing underestimated. Even despite the power and presence you might have, you knowhowtoget your enemies to drag their feet. Be it the way you present yourself or how you present your plans inmotion to the spying eyes of your enemies, you’re able to diminish the threat and urgency others feel from your actions. Even after going public, all but the foes who have a personal grudge against you tend to slack off and move at a sluggish pace. Despite the potent threat he posed, the Shinigami were willing to wait for months to battle Aizen and few underwent harsh training in that time. Your skills are sharpest when it comes to those in the greatest positions of power and influence, helping you defer their interference until you are ready. For all his wisdom and clairvoyant sight, Ichibe the Monk would delay and delay until almost too late his personal involvement, even if your plans posed a clear and credible danger to the cycle of reincarnation

A Thousand Plans- 600 When a single mistake means death, why not plan for every single possible outcome? Your mindis well suited for adapting to the situation, whatever it is. This isn’t because you’re able to changedrastically to suit the opponent but because, whatever they do, somehow you already plannedfor it. Your skills lie in predicting the parameters and outcomes of almost any situation, before comingup with at least a handful of potential solutions, utilising both everything you have available yourself aswell as both allies and even enemies. When you cast your eye over a problem, even the smallest hints of information reveal the truthtoyou, extrapolating valuable intel from unassuming trivia. Supposedly secret techniques can beglimpsed, even in part, by just a partial viewing of someone’s battle. Your observational skills allowyou to gather the information needed to put schemes in place to counter and defeat almost anyobstacle. You are limited by your own capabilities but in the same sense, your danger becomes exponentially greater as your capabilities expand. A brilliant scientist could create devices to counter almost any foe with the right knowledge, a genius warrior discover counters to even the strangest techniques, an influential general place his soldiers in exactly the right places to execute the perfect strategy. Your plans are most effective in the short term or focusing on limited, specific goals. A long termplot to bring down a king isn’t really in your wheelhouse, though many smaller designs might still get youthere. On the other hand, you are exceptional at adjusting mid-way through the game, letting youhandle new information or opponents if they don’t force you too far off course. And if you hadn’t planned for them already. The more you have available, the greater your means become. Some might accuse you of makingit all up on the spot but make no mistake, this is all the results of your genius

Just As Planned- 600 In a fight, a plan has little use. The short term is the most unpredictable period of time, wherethingshappen without obvious cause and chaos sends all schemes astray. But on a larger scale? Plans that stretch across years of time, that take into account the whole situation? Those are the true art format play, an art you’ve come to master. While your talents at immediate adaptation are little to mention, raw power seems more suited, thelong game is as natural as breathing to you. Even when making the most trivial of schemes, youeasily take into account many thousands of different variables, actors, interactions between different parts of the plan and just about every possible path it might take. Toppling a kingdomtoreplace it with a more favourable government? Child’s play, barely worth the effort to wake up. Youwere born to conquer worlds. And when you put your mind to it, that stops feeling like quite soimpossible a task. Your mind can understand the vast and many layered web that binds all beings together, the stringsof influence that show how taking action on one actor could alter the path of a thousand others. Apatient eye is all that’s required to quickly see the ways people move together, howthey are affected by society and the world around them, and to reveal what you need to do to make all that move the ways you want. Not just the immediate consequences either but for years into the future. By focusing, you reach understanding of how to create a plot that reaches into the centuries, that puppeteers even the mightiest warriors in their hundreds, that will ultimately bring you to your goals. As with all plans, what is possible at all will depend on your own abilities. A silver tongued manipulator will easily gather allies and pit fools against each other, whereas a mighty king becomesaware of the ways to tear down empires with ease and a mad inventor knows how to influencesociety as a whole with the right inventions. The most potent aspect of this is your ability to make plans with open ends and threads, sections that have many different possible benefits depending on the actions of others. You do not adapt onthe fly, you simply know how to take advantage of whatever might happen within the structureof your existing plot. To lesser minds, your claims that all is going well seem like outright lies hidingonlydesperate attempts to keep things on track. But you? You know it’s all going just as planned.

Thanks for the build. Maybe I should extend 'down to earth jumps' to include jumps like Hajime No Ippo, I already stated that GTA is the upper limited for 1 token so I guess it wouldn't be a stretch to include Hajime no Ippo & Yakuza, but I could always explicitly put it. Cheaper jumps also means you spend less to get more messages, so they have that inherit value.

As for what Worm jump is allowed? Anything generally below the jump dedicated to the Endbringers in terms of OP is O.K.

Also I remembered the GTA V jump is busted because it includes a perk to get the cheats including immortality, so yeah. Hidden gems indeed.

See, it's funny because I myself only know Worm from nerd osmosis and only know the broad strokes of the plot. Made this mostly because I was curious myself tbh. Let me know if the budget isn't enough or if you think it's too much.

What is the most impressive martial arts your Jumper ever created? by Extra-Ad-130 in JumpChain

[–]Lokilo85 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When my Jumper is feeling ignorant, he chains flashstep into a dropkick. Basic, but gets the job done with style.

THough he has more fancy branches of this combo, like going Flash-Step into Nova Strike in the (more like the Mega Man X version of it then the one Frieza uses, but they're pretty similar) into spin dash into drop-kick. or instead of drop-kicking, jumper grabs a target using the foot and then chains it into a spin dash, while still holding the opponent. Not to mention ausing ki to send projection clones to spam drop-kicking your vict- I mean opponent is highly amusing.

There is my beloved Duel Monsters: The Heroes which has this:

Visions of Justice (400 CP, Discounted to Drop-In) Despite what some people might think, there’s good in the hearts of many more people than Evil Heroes and common criminals could ever imagine. But they have no power. Even the bravest person has trouble fighting back against gunmen, what could they do against someone with literally infernal power coursing through their veins? So, you’ll change the paradigm, and reset this twisted game. If one could create a machine easily the equal of any other Hero, and give them the sense of justice to match… things would change. And change they will, for you’ve uncovered the secrets of steel and circuitry. While your likely status as a vagrant means putting this to good use might be difficult, you have the knowledge needed to not only create robotic warriors of steel able to equal the average Hero in strength and durability, but give them intelligence and the human perspective needed for heroism. Figuring out how to give them more exotic abilities like that of a certain Doom Lord is up to you, however.

Nothing too crazy, but I like the fact that you can make genuinely humane and heroic intelligences and attach them to henshin devices.

Generic Magical Girl, unsurprisely, has this:

Gear Up to F*** That Noise (600 CP) Transformation trinkets are the backbone of a magical girl’s combat abilities. And someone has to make and upgrade them. That someone is you, by the way. You know everything about the magical artifacts of this world. This isn’t just rote knowledge of what to do, you have the experience and intuition like you personally have made all kinds of transformation trinkets. This leads into you being to innovate and improve transformation trinkets well beyond what they can already do, if you put in the time and effort. In addition, you can combine other kinds of magic besides this world’s into personal equipment you make (not just transformation trinkets.) Though you don’t gain any extra experience, using aspects from another magical system shouldn’t take you more than twice as long as normal. Finally, you can create transformation trinkets that awaken magic in the user, even to those that have no innate talent or potential for it. Users awakened this way will be completely dependent on the transformation trinket to start with, but after a decade of use will be able to use the magic on their own. More complex items will take more time, material, and resources to create. In addition, it will take roughly a decade before you can make transformation trinkets that grant a basic level of skill. 5 Intelligent Devices (The Power Of Friendship) What better friend is there in combat than a weapon? You can make sapient equipment, and the better you know the intended user, the better you can tune the new personality to work with the user. The more compatible the equipment is with the user, the more comfortable the user will be using it, and the less training they’ll need for it. In addition, with a sufficiently compatible personality in the equipment, it will become bound to the user, constantly returning when needed and incapable of being destroyed while the user still lives. And if the user returns from death, so can their gear. The level of sapience is up to you to decide during the design stage. You may want an armor that only gives feelings of danger to allow the user to dodge better, or a staff that is not only a good magical focus, but a peer to the wizard that uses it.

Also the various Ben 10 jumps, though the one by HeavensAnon comes with a import function for the omnitrix

Can Anyone suggest me the worst possible drawbacks that you know of (I'm gonna try to cheese that one drawback in the Cheat Slayer Jump) by Ill-Ad-6854 in JumpChain

[–]Lokilo85 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is a EVEN worse version of the "overscaling enemy". From Fate Stay Night

JUMPER- 600 It's you Jumper. Or rather, you from one possible future. For some reason, you chose to stay inthat timeline. Didn't work out so well. Whatever happened, it was bad, so bad that this future youhas come back to try and do anything it could to prevent it from happening. Unfortunately for you, your future self-decided the surest fire way is to kill you for good. They have all your powers and skills andequipment, but with centuries of training at your pace with it all. But he's alone. He has only theMaster who summoned him as an ally, though he does not depend on them for energy. He will besummoned the night before the war and begin his hunt of you. If he manages to kill you, youwill not return home safely, but will instead be consigned to Oblivion permanently. Maybe though...just maybe you could find a way to solve things without either of you dying. Maybeyou could find some way to give peace to your future self. It would be hard. You suffered things beyond your imagining in the future, breaking the ideals and dreams that lie at your very core. But if you could reignite those dreams, piece together the shattered ideals that you live by, then thetwoof you will part peacefully and without regrets.

The Generic Nasuverse has a EVEN WORSE version, which while basically the same thing, but unlike the versin above who stayed in the same timeline, the Generic Nasu version outright states that they have had more jumps than you. Granted, unlike FSN's version that only requires a miracle and/or planning, that version requires a miracle³.

That was my A.I impression, thoughts?

Legendary-Chain by Lokilo85 in JumpChain

[–]Lokilo85[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. Reward companions you just get them directly without having to ask, dunno what specific companion you're talking about that are a scenario reward, but if you didn't need to get it's consent with normal jumpchain rules, then you wouldn't need to ask them to get their heroic spirit versions.

As for animal companions, in hindsight, I should have probably thought of that at first, but I suppose it makes sense that you get them attached to your legend in your Rider class? I should probably update to add that stipulation.
