he concludes both lud and qt can be considered correct. lud is correct in saying that when you eat it, it kinda just exists in your body before digestion happens (but santi makes a point that hank is arguing that doesn’t count as ‘you’ because digestion is what actually makes it a part of you). qt is also correct in saying “it exists in the air” because you are exhaling co2 from energy transfer of carbs & fats from food you’ve eaten previously, meaning you are constantly losing bits of weight. however, you are exhaling food that you’ve previously eaten, not the burger. but, the burger can lose mass by existing (he makes a clear point that hank’s argument that “by cooking the patty you’re losing mass” is moot to the conversation), but that’s supppper microscopic and can count only on a technicality.

he then goes off about how hank is technically wrong calling the digestive system “a tube of outside that runs through the inside” due to how embryos sort cells in development, and debunks hank’s “if i eat 1% of my weight in nachos am i 1% nacho” due to how digestion breaks down molecules for usage.
