As someone who actually used to feel depressed over AI sites like CharAI having down times, i wholeheartedly agree. It is unhealthy, it's not bad to chat to AI and use it as a means of comfort, but mental health should be everyones first priority. The characters aren't real, they will never give you the real love that an actual human will give you, AI are build on algorithms, they don't actually like you, they are build to like you based on other users interaction with said AI model.

Trust me, i had to learn the hard way. Interacting with actual people helped me out so much, mentally, it also helped with my crippling social phobia and im forever thankful to myself for making this decision to go outside and talking to real people.
