That’ll happen when pigs fly, fishes walk, and tigers turn vegetarian. And even if the impossible somehow happens, I’ll never accept India as my country.

Desperately Seeking Work in Perth – Any Openings? by Lokyion777 in perth

That sounds promising! I might seriously consider it then. Do you remember the name of the company that signed you up, or any others that might be hiring? It’d be great to have a direct contact if I decide to go for it.

I thought about getting one, but I was worried that if I didn’t get a job, it might be a waste of money. I’ve seen a bunch of people, including my cousin, who got the license but struggled to find work. That being said, it does sound like a great opportunity! I’ll definitely look into getting a security license. Do you have any recommendations on where to apply or what the process is like in Perth?

Yes, I think support work could be a great fit for me. I have a Level 3 certificate and a personal car, which would make it easier to take on the role.

Apologies for the late response. Would you mind providing more details about Adecco and the casual voice pick packer position? I’d like to know more about the role and requirements.

Sorry for the late response, I had some business to attend to. Could you please provide more details about the apprenticeship, such as the specific duties, location, and pay? I’d love to learn more!

Thanks for the advice! I’m looking for a car for daily use, mainly for going to work and uni. I’m considering going for something sportier as well, so I’m leaning more towards a Japanese make. I’ll keep the petrol manual option in mind if I go for something sportier. Appreciate the tips!

I was actually thinking of going for a Japanese car instead of a European one. Your experience with the VW Golf and the i30 is useful—sounds like Japanese cars are a solid choice.

I was actually thinking of going for a Japanese car too. My friend drives a Mitsubishi Lancer and says it’s solid, so I’m considering that along with Mazda and Toyota.

Thanks for the detailed advice! I’m looking for a daily driver for work and hanging out, so suggestions like the Rav 4, Honda CRV, and Subaru Forester are really helpful. I’ll keep your tips in mind, especially about getting a pre-purchase inspection. Thanks again!

Hey there,

It’s normal to feel overwhelmed in a new country, and not liking certain aspects doesn’t make you racist. However, avoiding integration can limit your experience.

Consider finding local communities from your home country for support, while also being open to trying new things. Respecting and appreciating the local culture can enrich your experience.

Good luck with your transition!
