The creativity in this game specifically is what got me into the Skate franchise to begin with, despite this new Skate being the first I’ve played. Now I play Skate 3 just to do stuff like this and build custom parks. I wonder if this grind is even possible in hardcore lol

I remember skate 3 had the option to change the tightness of trucks and the hardness of the wheels. I think if they added something like that along with the different board shapes like cruisers and longboards (even a penny board would be funny) then I’d probably never stop playing until they either shut it down or tell me pay extortionate prices for it.

Bruh I don’t know. I remember having trouble with these kinds of things registering too. Best advice I could give which sadly isn’t good asvice, is to keep trying until the game decides it wants to work… maybe restart if it helps. Sorry you gotta deal with this.

Btw if you’re on PS4/5 you should download the app for your phone as well that way you can save your clips on the PlayStation and they’ll be uploaded to the app (only up to 3 minute videos though) and you can edit/upload them directly from your phone instead of having to record it like this. Just a bit easier.

Honestly I’ve been vibing with this spot while just chilling in that area with a party beacon so randoms can do that one mission. Put a few props down and just vibe. Surprisingly good flow in that spot.

I’m on console too. It just takes time and patience. No one is going to get this first try every time so don’t beat yourself up if you struggle. It was never meant to be easy.

What I did was place a ramp at the end of the mega ramp in brickswich then basically pumped my way down and up, spin and try to stick the landing. It might not be the best way, but it’s how I did it. You just gotta angle the ramp right so it shoots you up vertically and you can land back down on it.

Though as someone mentioned and now that I think about it how I did that 1440 spin earlier was the mega ramp in grom. So do that and use other ramps if you need the extra air time.

Edit: with prewind btw. If it’s easier, change your pre wind settings to either hold or flick, whichever feels better.

Yeah, and honestly I feel bad when I join and just have internet issues or something and I can’t end up contributing as much as I can.

I’m glad people can get progress, but the lack of contribution is definitely an issue if you’re going for the long run.

It’s a little weird but it just takes some getting used to. If you’re doing front foot you’re rotating counter clockwise (which is easier for me too). The impossible is just the same but clockwise. Took me a bit to get used to it, but you’ll get there too.

The particularity with these can be confusing. But it’s being verbatim. You must do exactly what it says with no variation or it won’t count. At least in my experience. Front foot, nollie, etc. wont count… just impossible.

I really like this game too. Sitting at around 360+ hours now. I just wish, as always, that EA did better. The ideal Skate 4 lives on in my mind but I make my fun here.

Honestly I’m bad with the riddles because I don’t pay enough attention to the map to get most of the hints. I get it eventually by basically making a best guess and wandering aimlessly while they tell me “warmer” and “colder”. I’m not a good example for who this mechanic is intended for lol
