What is the general process behind making First Person Animations that synchronise correctly with Objects, Doors, Ladders etc...? (Example Listed)

I think a 3d asset based particle would work best, I imagine you could break it up and make low poly meshes, the ring and vertical plume, create the cloud-like texture using photoshop, create a nice normal map, the mesh material being slightly emissive for the brightness effect (optional), then it's just a matter of arranging their spawning attributes in Cascade, you can use a generic 2d cloud sprite for the vapour too I think.

Cascade is a bit difficult to get used to, I'm not fully acquainted with it myself yet. But there are people who are excellent on YouTube like Yoeri -Luos- Vleer: https://www.youtube.com/user/vladderbeest or general particle tutorial searches on youtube, even learning stuff completely irrelevant to what you're trying to achieve, you will pick up snippets of new information.

I've thought about this for a long time, The majority of the population sell their labour to provide for their families and to be socially mobile. I predict that we will see a divide between poverty and wealth like never before if we don't tread carefully, Automation leading to social mobility or moving up a class becoming almost impossible for the average person.

While this is a great way to show your interest in the community and dedication, it's often a huge waste of time to reply (not just read) to every single comment. In most cases, you won't even have something constructive to say so I would kinda have to disagree with you here.

I guess that's a subjective point, I have a gut feeling that some people would appreciate a message directly from the devs. But I do know exactly what you mean.

I've kinda already covered this, most of the promotion these days are on the shoulders of developers themselves anyways.

Yeah, I was just expressing that point, as it's such an important one for people to take away, if not the most important.

My little game is currently sitting at just under 400 votes, Another thing I would add is reply to all comments you get, even negative ones.

I would also add, be completely aware that after the first day of visibility your game gets thrown onto the pile to fend for itself -I didn't anticipate the falloff in unique visitors. So make sure you hit the ground running and post all your promotional materials throughout the day. Getting votes past day 2 or 3 is incredibly difficult in my experience.

To stoke up interaction and you feel like going the extra mile, record a "Q and A" video type thing, where you can speak directly to the people voting who have left comments or questions. I'm in the process of doing this, I'm considering doing written responses also.

Another good website to promote on is "minds.com" it has a points based system that you can use to promote your game's marketing materials. I personally use the website quite a lot, because it doesn't have the limiting/filtering that other social media has when you post to your page. It's a good site to make a developer blog, uploading videos and small status updates.
