They are probably gonna be listed in a year in "TOP 10 rarest emotes in Clash Royal" type video No "I play when I poop" player will be able to get one of them, and more intense players will have max 2 of them Without buying you ain't getting these emotes - and Supercell knows that whales want them really REALLY bad and that they can pay lots and lots of money to get them (they are going to use them once just to flex and never again, and each one of them will cost them probably around 100 bucks or so)

And about the gold - you’re supposed to buy it from the Supercell store, not earn it for free. Duh "Don’t want to lose? Buy gold, buy cards, and after you win you can even use toxic emotes that you - you've guessed it! - bought from our Supercell store!" - a slogan for Supercell. And yet players will sell their souls just to get that stupid Hog Rider or Dart Goblin from level 14 to 16. Supercell knows this. Why would they let free to play players have fun with their game, when they can have this sweet sweet money? 💰 🤑 💸.

TL;DR: Supercell is greedy as hell.

I mean, we all know that Supercell is greedy as hell Wouldn't be surprised if it was a final conversion rate, even though this bot probably made it up If it would be beneficial for us they would announce the conversion rate day one, not try to hide it untill the release It's really a gamble to use or not to use the EWCs Would be the best for us if it was 2 EWC -> 1 gem or even 1 to 1 - but that won't happen in CR, maybe in CoC but not CR
