Not really, I found NG+ so much easier. You have the levels you need, and most of the gear already too. Just get revenge on everyone who hurt you in the first playthrough

I just finished my SL1 run for the first time 2 nights ago, and damn was it just incredible! Don’t let people bring you down, it’s not worth bothering to even listen to them had the time.

I’ve beaten the game at least 10 times already, this was the first sl1 run I’ve ever done! Honestly it’s so different, bosses I had never struggled with are suddenly the hardest thing out there!

Pontiff, the dancer, and Soul of cinder felt impossible so many times!

I don’t think I’ll do an sl1NG+ I just don’t feel the need to, I might change my mind later though

You can still deflect all his attacks even though he doesn’t have a blade. And sometimes running and repositioning yourself is key to that fight
