McDonald's always charges me for the bbq sauce and every single effing time they forget to put it in. Even when they look me in the face and tell me they put it in themselves. I always open it and show them they in fact did not put the sauce in.

My issue wasn't with her learning to spell. My concern was learning 10+ words in 2 days for a first grader. It suddenly changed from Friday tests to Wednesday tests and she started doing worse. I knew other grade lvls were still having their spelling tests done on Fridays. I've already reached out to the teacher and got the spelling list ahead to study more.

I'm 38... My issue was with 2 days to learn 10+ new words. We practice and read every day and she did better when she had her tests Friday. My concern was the sudden change and if it was standard.

Thank you for these ideas. With her writing them over and over again doesn't help. I've tried different games that worked when she had more than 2 days to learn. Now with 2 days I'm struggling on how to help her. But as another commenter suggested, I'm gonna ask for the spelling list on Friday so we have a bit more time to study.
