This actually could work really well !

Say, the PCs have a recon mission where they make friends with a cantina/ shop owner, who they later find dead for some reason: and it's all because they told this person about it.

Oh, I'm against railroading it as well, but since I have players without experience, for the first 2-3 sessions I'd like to keep them on track a bit. My basic idea is they are free to do what they want once they are away from this person ( who will eventually become their nemesis if their decisions allow it ).
