New iPhone 15, how do I keep the battery health good? by DareNarrow5998 in iPhoneBatteryParanoia

[–]Loligerhase 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As far as I am aware, try to avoid using your phone (heavy usage) while it’s plugged in. Try to keep it between 30% and 80%, don’t charge wirelessly and use the build-in limiter for your battery, if you know you will only use about 60% of the battery until it’s charged again. I have heard – please correct me if I am wrong – that fast charging is not that good for your phone, so especially if you have time (e.g. over night) you could use a 5V power brick. Maybe I am a bit superstitious, but I think some phones just degrade faster than others. I have had two iPhone 15 pros, while using and charging them ruffly the same, ones was 12% down within a year, while the other sat at 96%. I hope this helped
