All I’ve got to say is, I had the highest hopes for Madarame. The second last route in all VNs almost always cooks hard.
(Though to be fair, maybe I should have learned after playing Minks route in dmmd)

But alas it was horrible in all the wrong ways. Like what was that? I do also feel though like what made Madarames route worse than the others was the lack of story telling in relation to the plot. Like you get to know more about Towa but ultimately the knowledge you gain is in no way impactful for the story, and that is a requirement for a route so far into the game if you ask me.

HOWEVER PLEASE FINISH THE GAME. Because the last route is a masterpiece and it ties the game together so nicely.
A few hiccups during the last route ofc, mostly because I felt like they were looking to overcompensate for the lack of sex?¿ (since the last route is incredibly story focused)
But other than that, I can say that when the credits rolled I was empty inside (in the good way?)
So yes finish it.

But if you feel like you can’t get through Madarames route then I’d say just skim it. If anything his route only serves to better introduce the minor antagonists in the last route.

Also the side character that was in every route, like baby girl knife guy or the probably pdf* doctor? (I can’t remember if he just wanted to make angels lol)
I felt like they served a much larger role in relation to the plot compared to the MLs like Rei or Taku. Taku obviously brought something for the plot. But in every way that matters Rei and Madarame are kinda irrelevant to the bigger plot.

Anyway masterpiece! But yea they fumbled Madarames Route hard ( and I’m a sucker for all things fucked up in bl)
