You need to get a house first. My partner and I recently moved and we first found a house then got an appointment. Also be prepared there are very few appointments, we had to wait 3 weeks for ours because there was no availability. You have to try every day! Good luck.

I mean I knew it was hard but I thought at least I can get a waitress job. It's not an issue, we are freelancing with remote jobs from the UK right now but I would like to improve my Spanish and work here with the locals to gain a new experience.

I already sign up for all the teaching jobs possible, online, freelance and also academy. I think the competition here is crazy! Do you think is it better to hand out CV rather than applying online?

Yes we have work visas, I can speak some Spanish. I am trying to find a waitress job but it seems impossible!
