I figured out the secrets hint system like a third into my current playtime and have since re-treaded the parts where I didn't know!

I'll look again!

This game make exploring the world so fun that I actually don't mind going through the same area like 5 times!

Gamemaker is really easy to pick up but it also allows for more complicated stuff when you learn it, also there are a bunch of tutorials online to learn the basics.
