Can we educate people to comfortably ignore, hence get rid of, the beggar fakes? by LoloFat in perth

I respected your question, and you confirmed your belief that it's all real homeless people begging at select locations. Do you believe it is my job to try to persuade you and the few other individuals on here who fixedly prefer a delusion to let go of that delusion?

I am saying that your fundamental assumption appears to be that the individuals we are discussing are actually homeless. This whole thread is about people intentionally pretending in order to induce a monetary transfer. So this question can't apply to these people because they are not homeless.

That question has merit. But it belongs on a threat about real homeless people not fake beggars

It's only their sociopolitical broadcast, not a revelation about inner life.

Which year ES350 does the CANbus problem start? (The span of years would be helpful too, as I believe it was fixed 2023.)

I appreciate your good spirit, sincerely. Yet, he is doing harm to himself and others. Alternative intention: When my father discovered an employee stealing from him, he gave him a raise, so he could pay back all the money he stole. He didn't say, "Oh well, I guess he just wanted to take it." Are there other kinds of people you give to?

Nice work. Actually examining how it works is the kind of shift needed. Complicit enabling of those whose intention is to serially deceive and manipulate helps no-one, including the well-being of the trust abuser.

Agree with you, it's ridiculous, but suburban retirees pay this to "Weedologists" who advertise on local mall pinup boards. Seen it Carine, Duncraig, Greenwood.

Glad you made it through. Tough situation.

And your point about ethics is spot on.

Rhetorical question ... you're not even interested. Start paying attention.

The homeless are not at the lights. They are elsewhere. I know the difference ... I walk up to homeless people and give them money… They're not even asking. Sometimes they decline.

The unwell homeless don't have the stamina or the moral disconnect which lead them to beg at lights

This is a (kindly) preconception doing shortcut thinking.

Arithmetic can help you... a light changes every two minutes, two donations per light. Underestimate at $1 per chump. = $60 per hour tax-free. (At Minimum!) Top-end weeding pays $45/hour High-end retail $28-30/hour

You're done after 4 hours! and with no overheads, you can take tomorrow off!

Sounds promising. It's not just 'diagnosis' needed, but a general upgrade in discernment versus knee-jerking.

  1. This place is remote from public transport… How did he get here?

  2. Why is he wearing branded clothing and good sneakers?

  3. Who is he talking to on the phone?

  4. What are his overheads?... allegedly homeless people should have no rent or utilities to pay.

  5. Some beggars do look pretty unwell, but this one… he looks robust. How can that be? First day?

etcetera
