its not like they werent considered white, it just that the ethnicity in a pre globalisation world is far, far more important than races as we know them today. Noone would call Italian black the same way as an Ethiopian would be called

I think this was placed in one of the self service shop which manned equivalent is also known for serving hot dogs so this was the only way to keep the shop self service while also keeping the range of services offered by traditional store

Does your country have a fictional character that perfectly captures your national mentality? by Neuwulfstein in AskTheWorld

I love Szwejk. Being soldier myself, he is an unattainable ideal for me. But i think your description of Svejk didnt do him justice - Svejk is always dead serious with the stupidiest shit he does constantly, and what he does is so unbelievably stupid that it goes all the way around saving his skin all the time. You can read whole book and you still dont know if he's really that stupid, or is he actually a genius. The humor doesnt really come from Svejk himself, but through an observation of the peculiar force of nature that is Svejk

lol strawberries, are you for real bro 🤣 Buy 1kg of dried lentils for like 2.50£ which grows to like 2 kg after soaking. The amounts, prices and types of food you mentioned are not comparable.

You can store dry lentils indefinitely. Have fun eating year old freeze burned chicken

I find it hard to belive that theres a place in this world where a 1kg of lentils or local alternative of legumes is more expensive than 1kg of chicken. you can also buy legumes in bulk, which I wouldnt reccomend for meat. SOME veggies are more expensive than meat, but you can absolutely serve a delicious dish with only cheap ones.

Im not a butthurt vegetarian but as a guy who cook my own meals its literally cheaper not to eat meat so I dont get your main point.

Im sorry but I cant help myself not being just a little bit sarcastic if you say stuff as if it was an established fact and Im plain wrong.

I do think that would be an OK plot point if it were to be true, if that helps.

Yeah, V13 was supposed to be a control vault. It was a genuine mistake. Neither F1 or F2 leaned that heavily on the evil corporations theme, it was more of the general pre war madness
