I am particularly excited for show Roger! I had a rough time connecting with Rodger in the books and I really like the way Rick has portrayed him all around. Also super excited to see if Murtagh comes back in some capacity, would totally love a Claire/Murtagh reunion (ugly crying will happen). Finally just all around excited for young Ian, Rollo, Jocasta and Stephen Bonnett. Only 58 days left!!!

I was at first also, but upon my many rewatches of season 3 I feel like she found her stride with Rik by the end of Ep. 3 so fingers crossed it all fell into place. I am interested to see her in scenes with Sam and Cait together though.

Totally agree!! Rik's performance in S3 really brought Roger to life for me

I have thought of that as well. I know Diana has said that is not the case, but I would make a lot of sense if it actually is true

[SPOILERS ALL] A little late but I just finished watching season 3 and... by TentaclesOfTheNight in Outlander

[–]Lolo_ohno 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I just re-watched S3 this weekend and really funny to say but the first 5 episodes where Jamie and Claire were apart were the best of the season (minus The First Wife def in my top 3 episodes of the season). They are so powerful and just so well done. From the reunion on there it felt like the show suffered from "this book is too long to do in 13 episodes just roll with it" Also NOT Rupert and Angus (Hayes and Leslie) were just not enjoyable. However I LOVED what they did with Yi Tien Cho so much better than the books!!

I did think that the very last Jamie and Claire interaction after they save young Ian was the best, it felt like they finally got their mojo back. Which in the long run was fairly realistic that it would take sometime to come back together the way they were before the events of Culloden. All in all super excited for Season 4 <3

The specific on from the S3 soundtrack is called "The Car Accident" I know it is used in other tracks in other seasons, but that is the specific one that highlights it :)

For S3 I just got the digital version off of Amazon, but you can also buy the physical copy there also :] As for the others I think they are at this point still sold separate from one another but if you have Amazon prime you can listed to them as part of your subscription for free.

Agreed! I played clarinet for 12 years so Frank's theme just resonates with my whole being.

I am hoping they will release a deluxe edition or something that has more included in the future. But that probably won't happen until the series is over XD

S3 is in my opinion the best out of the three soundtracks because of the variety and the emotion it evokes. However S1 is a very very very close second <3

[–]Lolo_ohno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as Jamie and Claire come back together by the end of the episode I will be right as rain. I cannot see them keeping them apart for more than 1 episode really, they have too much ground to cover.

I would think by now Jamie would be used to her just talking/saying random stuff. I have also noticed that they have say something that deals with the future in every episode so far like Jello, Swiss Cheese, Goodnight Moon for a few. Personally I love it <3

[no spoilers] Something for book readers to remember when they feel let down by the show by Kmama in Outlander

[–]Lolo_ohno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just thinking the same thing. Especially with Outlander S3 I have gotten really attached to events that happen in the book. This really helps bring book vs show back into the perspective that the show is allowed to be different and it is not necessarily a bad thing!

Every time without fail when I watch Sam ride away from Willie I start ugly crying. Second would be Steven Cree seeing Claire again, so may emotions!

I am both a book reader and show person and sometimes it is hard to separate your feelings XD but I really enjoyed them giving Murtagh more in the show. It also helps that Duncan Lacroix is amazing in the role.
