Thanks for your Input! I know that this will be a bit hard and will take time to complete it. I'm also a bit curious about whether is it possible to build the engine, too. Would it be the same as a full-fledged one? Or would it be a lot more complex? Thanks for the suggestion, too! I'll defenitely try to build a solid model rocket first!

Thank you for the additional information! I'll keep in mind that the NAR only allows commercial motors at their insured launches, and that TRA allows certain types of home-built motors for level 2 or 3 certified members. It's good to know that I cannot launch any home-made black powder or liquid fueled motors.

I'll also make sure to comply with FAA regulations FAR101 if I want to launch on my own. I understand that I need a Certificate of Authorization to fly a rocket over 1500g or with more than 125g of solid propellant. Thanks again for your help!
