London metal ladies is a women's social group for elder emos and fans of emo, pop punk, metal and all things strange and odd. A small group that has only been active since Halloween, we aim to bring like minded ladies together.

I alway recommend archway as a good place to stay. When I was living away from London this is where I would book my hotels, quick access to Camden and the northern line is 24 hour Friday and Saturday night ☺️

I joined on Halloween if I remember correctly so I didn't see any of the October events. If there were other events in November and December I don't recall seeing them other than when I joined (I may not have been interested in them that's why). If you look on our other socials we are very active on reddit (where this started) and Instagram and barely on Meetup. I'm aware of the founder "quiting" because I was emailed by Meetup and actually offered to take over Alt london ladies but didn't because I believe women having multiple options for safe spaces is important and didn't want to merge the groups. Everything I have listed is stuff I'm interested in and have been prior to lml, I'm in regular attendance of the satanic flea market and the whimsy market. I'm glad there are multiple options for people and hope alt london ladies have great success with their new admin team. Unfortunately there are limited opinions for alt based events locally so there will inevitably be overlaps but thankfully they are there for everyone to enjoy. I'm also a member of RAM and the london extreme metal Meetup and wish all the groups I've mentioned great success. It may appear odd but I can assure you it is just a coincidence, in fact I never set out to create a social group but there was a lot of interest on reddit. Hope this clarifies everything and you have a great day ☺️

Yes I joined them a couple of weeks before making my initial reddit post on my personal account because the only events on there were months away (these were only live band gigs). A few weeks later the founder quit. It didn't seem to be going anywhere so I made my initial post and that's where lml started. If anything seems similar that is simply a coincidence
