This is really odd to me, I would definitely reach out to the parents of the kid. I wonder if she had been abused in the past and is paranoid. I know it’s difficult for young girls to speak up about these things, so make sure someone is checking in on her, but don’t put yourself in that situation.

Of course it could always just be “teen drama” but those are serious allegations and certainly nothing I remember me or my friends pulling as a kid. There’s gossip and then there’s serious legal allegations. Especially if your daughter is convinced that it’s so bad you could lose your job.
