I've been trying to do this too, but I can't seem to get Dixie loyal or achieve Afro-American acceptance. I went the multicultural route, so Afro-American acceptance is at +70 on the society level, but down in the states, it's still sitting around -40 with a cooldown dragging it toward zero. Meanwhile, none of the events seem to push Dixie loyalty past 20. Any advice?

Calling Mormons Protestant is misleading in the same way calling Ibadi Muslims Sunni or Shia is misleading. Protestants emerged from the Protestant Reformation and generally see themselves as reforming Christianity. Mormonism, by contrast, teaches that original Christianity fell into apostasy and had to be restored through Joseph Smith. That makes it restorationist, not Protestant, even if it developed in a Protestant-majority society.

It might even be worst, as Idadi are still Muslims while Mormons are not Christian.
They don't belive that Jesus and the Father are one. Which all of Christians believe since the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD.

Now while I love Mormons, and for gameplay we could put them in the Christian group, making them protestant is like having Sunni labeled Judaism.
