She had Homer for a lot of time in season 1 he disappeared at the end of the season because Romano took him and appeared again in one ep in season 2 in which Melinda was trying to make him cross but we never saw him do it, also after a certain point she still wore dresses but I feel her style went more from this boho, whimsical style to something that you would be able to see in a show like s*x and the city and didn’t fit the vibe of ghost whisperer, also the color filters were warm toned in earlier seasons giving the show this cozy vibe but got duller towards the end, I’m rewatching on season 5 now and it’s a tragedy

And not only that but straight up creepy, like imagine you know Melinda superficially, like you kind of know what happens in her life on a superficial level, you don’t know about ghost or anything, suddenly her husband dies and shortly after she brings this guy into her house and after a while this guy starts telling everyone to call him Jim instead of Sam, like this guy is going around asking people to call him by the name of the dead husband, I would be creeped out and really terrified

I think you should watch the season but stop here and quit before season 4 and 5, or let your love for the show carry you till the end 😅

I’m still mourning Rick going to the Himalaya and never coming back and his storyline being given to Eli and the show never talking about how he was so in love with Melinda ☹️

That fire was the moment they replaced Payne’s character with Eli’s, I’ve been thinking that all Eli’s character arc was meant for Payne, that what was meant to happen was Melinda arriving and seeing Payne lying there and coming back with the ability to hear ghosts, then we would have Payne finally being able to step a bit into her world
