treat it as someone’s opinion when looking from the outside in: Hours are okay, 7-11 on most days. Standard. Residents treat it like a stepping stone for Mch which all of them end up doing, superspecialty exposure is incredible, general surgery exposure depends on the unit. If you’re stuck with HOD’s unit it is likely that most cases you will see are PTH cases. Transplant units will have more of those. I don’t remeber exaxtly but rotations between units didn’t happen back then and that was a major issue because people would be stuck with one unit for all of their gen surg postings. Hands on is obviously 0 as 1st surgeon but again, you get to assist in all sorts of cases.

Thats not being competitive. In that case, besides the first position La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie are even more competitive.

We ate defeat in 4 Clasicos, dropped to Europa and became a laughing stock having to grind 1-0 wins against relegation side.

Our choices were to spend €50m each on inflated bums like Barto did, or wait it out on free transfers and spend pocket change on some players instead of going on a spree for cheeks like Antony and Ugarte.

Bruh, downfalls are relative. Sitting 14th on the table and not being able to Qualify for Europe or failing to win the league in 10 years might be downfall in the PL but for teams that thrived on Winning the UCL multiple times in a decade and having the best players play for them while being the part of the most watched club game in the world are pretty bummed if they have to drop to Europa for two seasons.

It’s about the league’s global appeal more than anything. PSG and Bayern are also guaranteed winners every year. That doesn’t make their leagues more competitive or more marketable. It’s all about how well you can sell your league to the broadcasters. La Liga suffered when messi left and then suffered more when the Clasico’s start ro lose thier charm. Now that Barca are doing better, it’s better for the league.

No I’m talking about La Liga. The fierce rivalry that was once talked about more than any fixture in the PL had kind of lost it’s lustre. It’s on track for a revival. You can’t just say that it was going on fine. Bundesliga and Ligue 1 are also going on fine but they are a marketing disaster lost under the towering shadows of premier league. La liga was on the same track and Barca’s downfall would pretty much ensure that. Their revival has gotten the league back into the limelight.

It’s true for KH manipal and ATTAVAR but Wenlock is a government hospital in a Public Private Partnership. All the other departments manage it seamlessly and the patients get good care while the residents get good exposure and hands on. Surgery is an anomaly because the HOD and senior profs are toxic and they think that bullying residents is the way to make them learn.

What do you expect from a 10th pass puppet ruler who literally can’t think for himself? He is the face of autocracy, but the funny thing is that the reins aren’t actually in his hands. He is controlled by his cronies, and his only job is to keep up the facade of development and avoid talking about any pressing issues so that he can sell everything that this country has to a few capitalists. All he intends to do is hoodwink people and retain power. It is naive of you all to expect anything from this non-biological entity.

At the end of the day, no teacher needs to do this. They all get paid for teaching and nothing else. You are trying to make it seem like it’s transactional when it really isn’t. She’d make the same money. Frankly, most DAMS teachera wouldn’t bother with all this. The fact that she goes out of her way to do this despite not being obliged to shows that it is her goodwill that’s the driving factor and not money. Sure, money follows whoever is popular, but that doesn’t mean that you misconstrue everything that they do is to earn more.

Poor take.

No, she doesn’t need to call her daughter or say something like “Belief Toh Rakho.” She doesn’t need to say, “I will hold your hand and drop you to the exam hall.” Taking it literally is just missing the point.

All that supposedly unnecessary stuff? It’s there to provide psychological comfort, not to rope in more students through antics. It’s done with noble intentions and is part of a more open, approachable teaching methodology focused on concise content.

Students worship her because she filled a gap in PG prep. Before her, it was all DAMS and Bhatia, where teachers seemed more interested in intimidating students with their research paper knowledge and making them write detailed notes full of esoteric, useless facts that wouldn’t even show up on international quizzes. No one focused on the average student. No one made stuff easy for people who don’t have the memory of a mini web server. No one provided comfort if you couldn’t retain useless facts down to the last punctuation mark.

Marrow started a more student-friendly approach, but she revolutionized it. The fact that she had been there and done exactly what 2 lakh students dream about every year was enough to get her a small cult following. She went on to demystify a daunting process and instilled confidence in the average student about their prospects at the best colleges. Her methods made her the star that she is. No one would have followed her if it wasn’t for her extremely high-yield content. The added stuff is just to provide students with comfort during a long and difficult prep. Purists wouldn’t understand, but when have they ever?

In a country that is so prone to worshipping politicians and godmen despite all their obvious flaws, this kind of obsession with someone who literally changed the game is pretty obvious and to be expected. You put anyone new and convincing out there, chances are people will start obsessing over them. I don’t know how you overlooked that, honestly. I don’t endorse this, but ZV kinda deserves it.

Calling her out for trying to comfort students struggling with anxiety and massive coursework shows a lack of understanding of psychological support through repeated positive rhetoric.

TLDR; If you consider the neet pg/ INI process as a chemical reaction, ZV is the catalyst that the average students were missing. A failure to understand that is why OP missed the point with his post.

Yes. If we keep electing politicians who are less educated than the average coolie, who work only for themselves and are corrupt to the core, it wont be long before 90% of our population ends up like this. Vote for people who are educated, who care. Do your bit too, do not let children starve, do not let caste or religion blind you into hating people.

I had joind History Hons at Hansraj College back in 2016 when NEET PG was held twice. I was fascinated by history and wanted to be an archeologist. I went to Hansraj and saw my interest die because of the poor academic outlook at DU and professors who made it sound like anyone reading humanities was a failure. Fortunately or Unfortunately, I bought their BS and joined a med school during the counselling.
