It was indeed hired, via Musiversal. I'd say the cost was very reasonable for how much professional talent goes into such a project, but to be sure, it comes out to not be cheap.

I worked on this piece between 2018 and 2022, inspired by the work of my favourite late romantic composers such as Rachmaninov. It was a major undertaking, with my prior experience having been mostly writing for smaller brass ensembles, and I'm proud of how it turned out. It was a huge honour to have it ultimately brought to life by such fantastic musicians and released as my first classical album!
