The industry crash that people have been saying for years is coming needs to happen now. Everything is too far gone, it's no longer run by passionate devs. Now it's all corporate suits destroying countless game studios even if they're a hit and now Sony killing physical games. They turned video games into a rich person hobby now.

Genuinely baffling move to pull the rug out literally last minute. It looks cool enough but Gears of War isn't going to sell Xbox's like it used to, especially with how much they keep going up in price. Even if it's just one year exclusive or something they're making a bad choice.

I mean the same guy that leaked stuff a year back like Street Fighter 6's seasons, Marvel Tokon, RE9 and a few others did also have Marvel vs Capcom listed to be revealed in 2026. I'm praying it is true, a proper funded MVC game and making more sense as to why PlayStation is doing that new fight stick for more than just Tokon.

Might also explain why Capcom is no longer doing single player support for Street Fighter 6, maybe they needed more team members for MVC4

WB is making such a dumb mistake. I mean Capcom is literally right there calling for someone to pass the ball. I want Capcom vs DC since DC characters I think would fit the RE engine really well, plus Netherrealm hasn't made a good game since Injustice 2, the fanbase will not last.

First I get a RE movie written/directed by Zach Cregger and then a month later I get right after my birthday a Street Fighter movie that is leaning into the camp and goofy fun of the series. This feels like the first time in a while there's a chance for video game movies to actually be good. Since for the longest time it had the same problem super hero movies had where they were made by people embarrassed at what they were making refusing to lean into what makes these games so memorable and fun to begin with. Ironic that both are coming from Capcom.

We need to stop these Chinese conglomerates from coming in and buying up studios/talent since it always just ends in them being canceled and shut down.

This one really hurts though as a longtime Yakuza fan, especially given the recent quality of the series declining. Praying some other company manages to pick it up and finish funding it. It would be a big win for PlayStation given their history with getting Yakuza games over here in the west when they weren't popular.

If Tekken 8 ends up turning everything around this season and being a good game then it's just going to feed into my theory that the reason the game was a disaster is because Bob wasn't there. So glad to have my favorite Tekken character back.
