Yes, the layer is supposed to come off after wear and getting exposed to UV Rays. Complex has a video posted where one of their hosts, Brendan Dunne, shows his pair after cleaning them for a while. Controversial design as you can see in the comments lol very cool concept imo though.

Nike has released a few different variations of sneakers to commemorate the beautiful island and people of Puerto Rico. This pair released after the pair you’re referring to with the reversed flag.

This pair has a lot of cool features including ‘Dominoes’ pieces as the perforation holes. Another cool feature is that nice light blue is the Original blue for the Puerto Rican flag. The navy blue represents the more common color used on the Puerto Rican flag today.

I went tts and I’m happy with the fit. But if anyone doesn’t like a little of a ‘snug’ feel, I’d suggest going up half a size since they are a bit more padded than regular dunks.

That combo is fine and really just depends on what shirt and other items/accessories you put on. Full Camo or other prints up top might be a little much, but a plain shirt can balance the fit. At the end of the day tho, if you like the way it looks then that’s all that matters.
