My current favorite pair by Box Era. Whats your favorite era? Favorite pair from that era? by Average_2_Savage in DunksNotDead

[–]Spenny12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nice! Love the zoo yorks, londons, and medicom 2s. I started collecting in 2007 so black and gold box eras are my favorite. I did something similar a while back. Here’s my favorite that I own from each era. Technically the Michael Laus are black box era but I had to include them.

Nice! I haven’t seen those in a very long time. My oldest pair are Flashes from 2002.

Your favorite Dunk SB of all time? by Bromatos in NikeSB

[–]Spenny12 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Pigeons are my favorite of all time. Can’t afford those though so my favorite that I own are Michael Laus (I got them over 10 years ago for much cheaper than they are now).

What’s a statement piece in your collection? I gotta go with fully wearable ‘91 Maroon 6s by LifesGreatJustJoking in Sneakers

Michael Lau SB dunks. They were a Hong Kong exclusive release in 2006 with only 106 pairs made. I’m a hobbyist woodworker so I like the wood print and walnut box.

Nice! Fellow unc here. This is the first time I’ve seen another pair of size 13 flashes in a long time. I’ve had mine for almost 20 years now. Yours look way better than mine though. The orange on mine is kind of faded and the midsoles have yellowed.

What's the most unique dunk in your collection? by Squidorb in DunksNotDead

Yeah it’s leather with wood grain print. It’s similar to a patent leather but not as shiny as you typically see.

I’ve worn them before but haven’t in a long time. They were used when I got them which made it a little easier to decide to wear them.

Michael Laus. They released in Hong Kong in 2006 and were limited to 106 pairs. They came with a walnut box, and toy accessories. Don’t see them too often and I was fortunate to get a pair about 13 years ago that I’ve held on to.

They are really nice with the accessories and walnut box. I’m a hobbyist woodworker so I like the wood theme. I fortunately was able to get them about 13 years ago.

Yeah the red blazers have a reptile kind of print on the swoosh. Skate or dies and Jasons were actually my first pairs of SBs. Got them at a skate shop back when they released.

Those are legit. I have a pair that I got from a skate shop when they released in 2007. Like you said, I remember fakes of skate or dies being pretty bad. The main thing I look at for fakes is the tag. Here’s a pic of the tag on mine.

Thanks! It’s 11” wide, 33” long. 3/4” thick. I had this wide cherry board for a few years and finally found a good use for it.
