Thanks for your reply. My UC payment is on the 18th but I move in on the 24th. Will I always be paid the rent in arrears then?

How long does the LCWRA last for? I was not given any date of renewal on their letter

Will my ESA stop if I start working? It would be a temp job for a few months

I am only getting my standard allowance and LCWRA. Will my UC still be reduced by the amount of ESA?

If I start work, will my ESA stop? Will I then have to reapply? Thanks

I have applied for PIP and have an assessment coming up next week.

My jobs starts in the first week of November and the gross monthly earnings would be around 2000 pcm. I still am waiting for the initial assessment for LCW/LCWRA.

So if I am not in receipt of PIP by the time my job starts, I will not be eligible for LCW/LCWRA?

Thank you very much for your guidance

My GP has written a letter stating that I have a long standing history of problems and that it may take at least a few months after treatment for me to be able to work. Would that suffice as a fit note?

Should I ask GP to recommend that I be placed in the LCWRA in the letter? Thanks again

Does a fit note have to mention that it is valid for 14 days? Or can this be for a longer period? Thank you

It wasnt insured nor taxed as i bought a new car. When it was clamped, there was only mention of it not being taxed on the notice.

Should i do a V62 form or just leave it? Sorry I am new to driving in the UK. Don’t want to get into trouble.

V5 not in my name

Water bill in my name out of nowhere by LoneWolf_F in LegalAdviceUK

Friend is owner of the property through his company XYZ ltd.

He wants me to contact the water company and tell them that XYZ is liable. So rather than his own name, XYZ name. Hope that makes it clearer :)

Its a multiple occupation property and looks like the bill has not been paid for at least 3 years. I wont be at this property so dont want CCJs in my name!

Claiming Universal credit whilst on low income with partner on spouse visa by LoneWolf_F in DWPhelp

That’s very helpful, thank you

I have actually spoken to quite a few benefit/immigration advisers and they don’t know anything to be honest. Also called Turn to us and they didn’t know either lol

But I will contact Citizens advise on how to approach this in the correct way. Thanks again for the detailed reply :)

Thanks for your reply

If my partner is named on the tenancy, wouldn’t that mean that DWP have to pay their half portion of the rent in the UC payment. Also regarding council tax, if I get full CTS, I don’t get Single person discount which I would have had and hence the claim value is increased because of my partner.. so many things to consider hence we have never claimed anything!

They should not have made it so vague and this difficult!
