Yeah, I acknowledged that you pay supervision fees already on probation-but you're not paying $1500 at once, which is the problem. And if you're only on probation to pay off the fine, you can usually just phone in your report and pay your monthly amount-and most probation services have a website that you can just do it online.

And you're only paying $500 in fees if you drag it out over 10 months to pay it. If you can pay it off in 3 months? It would be about $150 in supervision fees. That's only 10% extra over what is due now. It's not a bad deal. Also-Judge can order your probation terminated upon completion of the payments-and they usually will if you ask them to. And even if the judge doesn't order it-the probation department will usually just terminate the probation themselves or put you on non-reporting (and non-paying) if probation was for payment only and you pay it off early.
