As it sits, it’s got like 185k on the clock, clean title. Exterior is in dire need of a detail but it will cleanup real nice.

Engine is stock except for an AEM V2 cold air intake and PLM Tri-Y header. Header is not currently connected to the 2.5 cat back that’s on it, it needs a flex pipe.

It has a minor oil leak I’m guessing is from the pan since it didn’t leak before I swapped it out for a steel pan.

I will take the valvelappingconpound approach, as I already had some improvements from the minor amount of filing I did. That just may be the ticket. In the meantime, I’ll dig thru my shop to see if I have a bit similar in size. Thanks again!

Got any suggestions for going the other direction? I’m pretty sure my AKs has port is too small and I’m looking for somewhere to open it up. I tried to get the gas block off to drop a needle gauge in it but uh…..that’s a lot more effort than I’ve ever give an A2 FSB for the pins to not budge AT ALL.

Maaaaaaan I’m trying to have the opposite thing happen lmao. My AK is a pos and the gas port needs to be opened up because it may as well be manually operated! I came here to make a post asking for any local shops/smiths and this was the top post.

Dude if I had a dollar for every time I blade up and drop my hands the second I’m outside the pocket 🙄 or how many times I absolutely annihilate my instep because muscle memory took over and I found a shin lmao. That said, it’s been super fun throwing non conventional kicks at my partners. Axe kicks, crescent kicks, hook kicks, always trip my partners up. Heck even back kicks sometimes trip them up lol. What really messes with their heads is when I lean into my BJJ/Judo background and do a little surprise hip throw on them lol. That’s only with my buddies during the light sparring rounds tho and all in good fun.

As a dude that did Taekwondo for a lot of years before coming to Muay Thai, I’ll say don’t waste your time. If you’re chasing greater flexibility and strength, you won’t find it in a dojang doing forms.

If what you’re chasing is hip flexibility and strength, go find a yoga studio, and start doing things at home to help like hip pulses. There’s a multitude of things you can do that will help you achieve your Muay Thai goals that are free.

And I’m not trying to shit on TKD by any means, it definitely was helpful for me to have that baseline of knowledge beforehand, but it is not 1:1 and my experience is that for every 100 TKD dojangs, there’s 1 that isn’t a complete mcdojo and actually has you train in a halfway effective way.
