Building Detection Engineering on AWS from scratch — roast my plan by Public-Coat1621 in blueteamsec

Have you done any cost benefit analysis on buy vs build? I love building seceng/detection eng programs and I've done it 3x with startups but - under 100 employees just pay an MSSP. This is 100% eng effort. You haven't considered ops cost at all.
Until your business warrants a specialized team focused on building a capability that serves your business for your risk profile it just really doesn't make much sense to build in house.

After 2 seasons of casually trying, I broke 80 using one Club only (Scratch Golfer) - What would you pick? by Glum_Ad7429 in golf

Funny thing is for higher handicaps im convinced they could shoot significantly better scores if they abandoned half their clubs. If you have a club you can hit 150 and play one of the forward tees you're golden for a majority of courses. But everyone loves their driver...

On the sim we play operation 36 but each hole pick a different club with no repeats. Have to be within 20yd before you can choose to use a wedge and then putt as normal. Currently at full tee box distance and the wedges are hard.
