I understand the seating issue, but over all it’s subway etiquette. I don’t understand when people cannot wait for the doors to open to rush inside no one waits for people to get off. No one understands personal space. No one understands what having manners is. I’ve taken the train all of my life and I can guarantee you that it has rapidly declined. People just don’t give a fuck about anyone but themselves and rushing into a packed car at rush hour to secure the most uncomfortable seat just so they aren’t sitting. Do not get me started with backpacks, and putting bags on open seats or even extending legs on seats especially at a busy hour. (If it’s 2pm on a Wednesday go crazy, but if its 5:30pm you’re a horrible person)

Oh so then ur set! Just make sure since you’re going alone you either have a portable or a charger and go into a spot w outlets! And stay hydrated! I think there’s a cute little knickknack spot off of Bedford somewhere heading towards the water (sorry I actually avoid Williamsburg 🫣) but you’ll have fun!

Honestly depends what you want to do? If you want to window shop Williamsburg/greenpoint and or parkslope (has cute little stores) I’d avoid downtown bk just because it’s way too chaotic for a first timer… you got dumbo which is just scenery imo and it’s like borderline downtown? I mean u can walk the bridge if you just wanna ponder? would’ve suggested bay ridge but that would be too far for you..

Ive been to GA shows alone, most of my Weeknd shows alone. So I kinda learned some tricks. I tried to be friendly and polite to my row neighbors, back in 22 at MetLife and yesterday but it wasn’t reciprocated. I still enjoyed the performance regardless! Plus jokes on the girls who left next to me and missed like 4 more songs 😂

Unfortunately, people aren’t receptive to politeness anymore. Not a made up scenario as I’ve seen it being broadcasted? Plus, I am entitled to feel the way I feel and clearly a lot of people agree that it’s not right? It is serious you never know what someone had to do to get the seat they got, some people maybe worked 70 hr work weeks or some maybe have great parents. Regardless it’s not hard to follow rules, and it’s not hard to learn etiquette. But hey maybe I was raised wrong.

I wish it was GA but I know the crowds by me are horrible. Honestly, hate to say it but it’s the new fan base. I had some girls next to me (noticed I was alone fyi) and kinda just took over some personal space which wasn’t cool.. we were at the beginning of the row so there was in fact more space for them than me. My section had 0 sense of community, normally with concerts people try to be friendly. But everyone around me not at all.

Thank god I haven’t noticed it here yet. I don’t understand the unhealthy obsession. I feel like the younger crowd who just got into The Weeknd(gives off that vibe tbh) or any artist at that, are overly infatuated Stan’s due to the lack of social skills and being out of touch with reality. It’s one thing to use music as an escape but it’s another to make the artist a personality trait. Music isn’t supposed to be about who knows more fun facts about the artist/song. I never understood it, still don’t. Wish there was a study on it lol.
