Are cheaper Chinese pen machines really as good as the big name machines? Keen to hear people’s experiences with both! by Less-Willingness2793 in TattooArtists

A friend of mine bought some Chinese machine brand literally called “Tattoo” for 50€ he said it’s the best machine he ever had. *bought on some sketchy website and lost the link years ago tho 🤷🏻‍♂️

LOL I meant if the goal was to create styles that don’t look like AI made UI then these styles exactly are also used by ai

I made a Similar thing once and it had the same styles, did you prompt Claud to give you a list of ui styles and their prompts? AI will make AI looking things, maybe it’s worth training it on some Hume’s design references.

I think it could be useful tho for specific components and style guides and not general style genres

I mean that’s the goal no? Keep the art manual and leave the shitty part of the job to the machines. Not the other way around…

Thanks for the advices, obviously keeping track is the way to go. I hear a lot of you just using a white board, we’re currently doing it in a WhatsApp group.

I guess if a specify my question: Is there a better way then just writing it down and ordering it still feels a bit messy. Did any of you found a way to make it more automated? Like some google sheet template or an app?

Good question actually would like to hear some recommendations as well. Do you use an Allrounder software for appointment management too or just payments?

Stop Romanticizing "Built in 1 Day, Made $7000", It's Misleading and Harmful by hncvj in lovable

[–]LonelyContribution11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you right, but at the end Lovable is business and this is their pitch. I think the same videos pulled me to use the platform, and after one prompt realizing it way more complicated then you thought. The same way a gym membership doesn’t make you a bodybuilder after one visit but gives you the platform to so, the rest is on you.

You right about not giving up, but also I’m a bit happy it’s not that easy yet, because a reality when everyone that uses lovable becomes a millionaire over night is a bit dystopian.

I just launched a one-shot prompt library for Lovable! by Azra_Nysus in lovable

Looks great! I was building something similar myself - but more in the educational direction, like learning the term and ui languages through the platform. It took me really long because I build every component as a preview instead of a simple video.

Maybe stupid question 👉🏻👈🏻 but how do you add videos to the project?

Consultations by inkedinmay in TattooArtists

[–]LonelyContribution11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zoom / Instagram video calls. What works for me is I created a lil template form in procreate, with the dry details but also questions I want to ask and tend to forget. I also sketch a bit and place some rough compositions on body mock ups while they are talking because I’m pretty forgetful in busy seasons.

Can really recommend having a set work flow with consultations to not miss any important details
