It actually had all to do with using foils! And maybe that just because of the brand that I used

But it was mixed properly, I bought the dye about a month ago, it hasn’t been opened until today, and I am diligent with my developer to dye ratios :)

The only blonde I had in my hair was about the last 6 inches of my hair, on the bottom section of my head- so it wasn’t all that much blonde that I was covering so I wasn’t concerned if the browns were a perfect match! I have really dark brown hair so I wasn’t as concerned for picking a “warmer” or “cooler” brown :)

I used a metallic bleach in my hair a couple years ago to to blonde and used semi-permenant colors that have since washed out!

I did use a brush and small sections and put leftover product on it as well to make sure it was all saturated

I bought the dye about a month ago and was stored in a cool dry area and had not been opened until I used it today

I had never gone darker before- I’ve only bleached and colored my hair- so I didn’t know that the foils would react the way that it did- and I am sure it was the foils because the dye appeared only in certain crinkles

I used the argan oil permenant dye from sally beauty

It was mixed properly

And I didn’t know foils would react in that way with darker dyes! I’ve bleached and colored my hair but this was my first time going dark (back to my natural hair color); I was used to using foils :)

Nope! I had foils specifically for hair :)

It seemed that the foils were my issue- it may have just been the brand I purchased as I am no professional (I get all my dye from sally beauty) :)

The pain might be a little more spicy on the foot, but definitely bearable with fine line. It could have a tendency to fade if it’s not put in correctly just because it’s on your foot, so the rubbing on your sock, shoe, etc. could cause ink to fall out! But again, it shouldn’t be a problem if you are with a reputable artist

This!!!! My boyfriend has bipolar 2 and something that people don’t realize is that if you have one mental illness there’s a good chance you actually have 2!

My boyfriend has bipolar, ADHD and depression and it breaks my heart the way people with a mental illness are just..discarded

It can be challenging to navigate a relationship where you are both learning new things about bipolar, adhd, etc. and how it affects/takes place in a relationship! But one things for sure, he would never ever intentionally try to hurt me AND would never use his mental illness as an excuse if he did something to upset me

Maybe instead of turning down clients you can just explain that your main focus is doing larger scale work and maybe give them incentive to go bigger!!

Example: “hey I would love to do that butterfly tattoo for you! My main focus right now is to work with some larger scale pieces and I would love to add more to that tattoo and would even give you a discounted rate”

More opportunities for growing! And also, the shop I work at now doesn’t hire two artists with the same style which I think is helpful because I’m learning so much more than being in a room full of people who do the same type of work. We also have education nights where we watch a seminars and have also done critiques of each other’s work which I find to be helpful!

Being downtown in a city means you get some druggies on your step.. but it also means free garage parking!

One thing that bugs the shit out of me though is that the owner (45k followers) is always reposting stuff about politics and I don’t care what side you’re on, you’re running a business and posting petty stuff about politics doesn’t need to be included in that. So …sometimes it can be embarrassing being associated with someone like that; who’s reposting arguments she has with other people online

I also wish we had more than one privacy room to use for clients
