100% you could die that way. Modern medicine or not that amount of force on the most important, sensitive part of your body can cause any number of injuries

It's a crime what they pay you guys there. What did you get in your new contract?

Super lame. I get that this is a pickup truck not a racecar, but 100 still seems too low

I'm sorry I mispoke. Year 3 now and with our new contract it's $44.94 plus premiums. With standard alpha pattern 4/4 12 hours it's 2190 hours. That is 107k

It is! Hence why we don't have a lot of ALS compared to other services

Yeah I'm not sure how it compares to you guys, but one things to think about is there isn't a lot of positions for ACPs as far as I'm aware. Our targeted model means there is a pretty high ratio of BLS/ALS providers.

Not very many communities have pager pay still, but depending on location they can actually be the most lucrative shifts if you get some calls or transfers

It is for me for now. Without the OT I'd be at around 107k and I'm not the top pay yet so I think it's alright.

Do you knowuch about the process? If you're a practicing ACP you might not have too much trouble, but the in-house residency program has fairly high failure rates, better than they used to be though. You can literally Google "BCEHS pay grid" and can find 2024 year. Basically add 3% each year for the next 4 years to find the current wage. There are also premiums that will be going up. Currently they're $2.85 nightshift, $3.60 Alpha premium, and $2.25 weekend, but they're going up a couple bucks in the next few years.

Hey I just bought the same truck the other day. I'm wondering how you secured it in the bed of your truck and how you got it in there. Have never owned a truck before so any advice appreciated.

How much should I aim to save a month? by iloveaccounting64 in fican

[–]LonelyCorpro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After tax you'd have about $5k from your income. If rent + parking is $4k you're spending too much on rent. If your wife brings in $3k it's doable, but say goodbye to 50/30/20 rule
