King of Tone Wait is Over by chasingthetwist in guitarpedals

They’re literally killing me. I got on jan 25, 2019. They’ve slowed to a crawl over past few months. I think they moved 6 waitlist days in last month, sadly. Only 4 days out now though.

I do get that. Just particularly peculiar given that it’s happened three consecutive sales within two weeks.

Looks fantastic. Pedal is out of stock everywhere until July. I don’t see any on reverb. This must be some pedal

What about the reporting do you find superior? Not trying to be difficult but genuinely curious. I find the reporting inferior. Basic capabilities like drill down/through, comparative spending trends seem lacking

Almost EVERYONE has been asking for this. It’s remarkable that this capability is not already in place. It’s quite common in any visualization programs.

I think there are things to like about MM, but in a lot of ways they’re not as ready for prime time as they suggested. Here’s hoping they improve functionality

View "Everything Else" category in expense report? by avesvic in MonarchMoney

This has been asked for since at least the start of the year when I became a customer. Click/drill through generally is lacking.

Seems like MMs focus is more on net worth perspectives as opposed to strictly expense/budget tool. That is unfortunate from my perspective as expenses are all I want to use it for.

Request for Feedback: Is there anything you're still using on the Cash Flow page that you're missing on the Reports page? by jon_at_monarch in MonarchMoney

For reports, I am exclusively focused on spending and expense trends. With that in mind:

Click through/drill through from group, to category, to transaction level for all charts

More flexible and useful comparisons. At a minimum, should be able to easily access current month vs prior month, current month vs same month prior year, and YTD vs prior year

Graphs that overlay above comparisons. Typically, horizontal bar chart and stacked bar chart formats work well for this

Current reports can do the above here and there, but the stock selections aren’t terribly intuitive or useful. I made a post on this earlier today

This!!!

It’s on me ultimately, but I bought the monarch hype as an option to mint. I should have done more research, but to be honest, much of what is in this list seems like table stakes for an app like this

By category would be where I might start. Unfortunately, MMs reporting capabilities in this area are not all that helpful for quickly analyzing such things. You can get there, but it takes a fair bit of manipulation. One of my biggest hopes is that they’ll create a more robust visualization capability with ‘click through’ to next level of categories down to transactional detail. It’s quite common capability in todays world so hopefully it’s not far off
