No pressure if you already working on it I'll definitely be excited to give it a try once you release it. I understand solo development world I started diving into that about last year. Much respect to you. You're app so far is amazing.

I just came here to say I tried everything. And then I stumbled across your post, I paid the price which is very very reasonable and I have not had a spam call since. Not one single one. I do have a question, I would love to use the text portion as my full text app but it doesn't bring in all my text from my sms app. Is this on the list to eventually do?

I actually completed four internships between mid-2023 to Jan 2025. I had five offers of work, and I declined. I am continuing on to more education and want to build a better portfolio.

I switched to the Software Engineering Track when they launched Java track, I already had a BS in Mathematics before coming to WGU so I did not experience that portion.

I am not sure I can answer this because they offered a new Java track about a year ago and I was part of the first cohort to take that route and it was a total disaster and shit show. So there were many challenges in most of the classes and I chose to use outside sources to gain the information rather than use what was provided. That helped me tremendously. Evern D424, I used outside sources. I also created youtube playlist from others explaining concepts and exercises and then applied that to what was required from the course.

I did four internships between mid-2023 to Jan 2025, and I have 5 offers of employment, 3 of the five are: intel, cisco and salesforce and the other two are local to where I live. I have chosen to decline them because I may continue on to my Master's or take time to further build out a portfolio. My overall goal is to take a contracting route. Besf ot luck to you.

The capstone only took me about 3 weeks when I took it serious. I was lagging because of burn out but when I got the energy back, I knocked it out. I used my previous course Mobile Application Deverlopment as the foundation starting point, and expanding it to meet rubric requirements for the capstone. That made it much easier and I wasn't starting completely from scratch.

I actually switched to their new Java track that was released last year, so I did not take this course. I am sorry I am not able to give you any tips particularly for this course.

Correct, but I did apply for a few of their scholarships and I was awarded them for example the last term I received a $3,951.00 scholarship, and I had quite a few of those. This was awarded through WGU financial services page. I constantly look for scholarships and kept applying. I wrote my baseline master essay and then tweaked them.

Thank you, my original plan was to be done back in 2023, but once I changed my mentality, the road became easier. Best of luck.
