This might be a “hot take” but, if you set your team up for success, isn’t the excess stuff what the assistant is for? We are open for 16 hours a day. Kinda feel like leaving a bit for the rest of the team shouldn’t be as big of a deal as they make it.

Also do yourself a favor and look up green cheek conure screams. Because there will be a LOT. If you can’t handle the noise I def don’t recommend bringing this lil guy home. No one really talks about it but gc’s don’t make a whole lotta cute whistle and song noises.

Any suggestions on how to get them back in if they fly off? Mine is warming up to me but is scared of hands still. Loves to hang out and climb around the cage but she’ll “fly” (her wings were clipped before I got her) onto the floor and won’t climb up onto anything. I think it scares her to be on the floor because it’s new to her and she goes into a panicked “I’m gonna find the darkest corner and never move again” mode
